I will be exhibiting at La Centrale in Montreal, Quebec for the month of June.
This immersive exhibition will feature elements of Collaborating with Objects, Stardust and Billion Year Old Carbon and will introduce new elements from a project Lessons in Pipe Dreaming, one where I am collaborating with my five-year-old daughter.
This new project is inspired by Dennis Openheim's, Two Stage Transfer Drawing. He described the work that he performed with his son, “As I run a marker along Eric’s back, he attempts to duplicate the movement on the wall. My activity stimulates a kinetic response from his sensory system. I am therefore, Drawing Through Him.”
Objects created by us will start to take on their own agency and allow us to imagine the "impossible".
