Cameo featured this phone receiver in the gallery. On picking up the receiver an audio track played. This track was a compilation of about ten one-sided telephone conversations recorded from various films spanning from the 30s to the 1990s. When listening to the phone conversation you become the person being spoken to, taking away the vicarious nature of film, and altering both medium and message.
